About Sean:

Sean C. Novack is a near-lifelong resident of Coon Rapids, a Coon Rapids Senior High School Class of 1989 graduate, and the son of longtime community leaders Patrick & Mary Novack.The sitting Ward 3 City Councilmember, he is a small-business owner (Templar Firearms Training LLC), licensed financial professional, and former investigations and personal protection specialist, Sean brings decades of leadership, business, public-safety, and community-service experience to his work on behalf of Coon Rapids residents.He previously served two full terms as Treasurer on the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, and sat on the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota Accredited Business Council. He was the State Field Director of the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Pageant, and helped found the Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Foundation with his parents when it ceased to be a Jaycee project.Sean has also served his community as the COR and Scoutmaster of several Scouting groups. He has been a member of the Lions Club, Coon Rapids and Shakopee Jaycees, Coon Rapids Snowflake Association, and the Sons of the American Legion.Sean and his wife, Cheryl, raised their family in Coon Rapids, and he remains committed to preserving the safe neighborhoods, strong community, and responsible local government that have made the city his long-term home.
